Karlskirche
yeah, today it was a bit foggy :)

One year after the black death epidemic in 1713
Emperor Karl VI. vowed to build a church for his name patron
Karl Borromäus who's also the black death saint ("Pestheiliger")

The laying of the foundation stone was in 1716, after an architect competition
which had been won by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach
.

Station: Karlsplatz, 1040 Vienna

Tram entry/exit
it says:
"To exit please, push the button"

"Bim" is what people here call their "Straßenbahn" (tram),
"Öffis" are all
p. c. (tram, metro, bus)
Wiener Linien

I've always been a big fan of means of transportation
and do a lot of research of any kind of public conveyance all around the world.
